In this email update:1. DEMONSTRATION in Concord, Thursday Sept. 2 – COME ON DOWN!2. EVERYONE’S help is needed NOW – homosexual movement targeting pro-Article 8 reps in primaries in (less than) 2 weeks!
NEWS ITEM: Google bans Christian ad [WorldNetDaily–Aug 17] This could very well be the wave of the future: Google has banned a Christian organization's advertisements promoting its stance against homosexuality, saying the group promotes "hate." Right now, national homosexual groups are raising money to change our Legislature (and defeat pro-family reps) so “hate crime” legislation and other laws can be imposed on us.
=== 1. DEMONSTRATION in Concord, Thursday Sept. 2 – COME ON DOWN! ===
Date: This Thursday, Sept. 2Time: 4:30 – 6:30 pm (come for all or part)Place: Rt. 2 Rotary in West Concord, across from the MCI-Concord prison.Directions: From Rt. 128, go west on Rt. 2 (about 8-9 miles) to the rotary. From Rt. 495, go east on Rt. 2 (about 6 miles) to the rotary. Make a statement to the politicians in that area, and the people, that this issue is not going away by any means – that the politicians need to take notice, and the people have hope and can get involved! Our recent demonstrations in Hyde Park, Mattapan, Lexington, and West Bridgewater were VERY successful, made the local papers, and stirred a lot of interest. And . . . have some fun fighting back! Parking: Prison visitor parking lot across from the Exxon station (where Rt. 2 comes into the rotary from the west). Parking lot entrance is on Commonwealth Ave. (the south branch off the rotary, along the west side of the prison).Signs: We will supply banners and signs, but bring your own legible sign if you want. [This place is REALLY crowded in rush hour!]
=== 2. EVERYONE’S help is needed – homosexual movement targeting pro-Article 8 reps in primaries. ===
This is worse than we thought. As you know (and as reported in the Boston Globe and other newspapers) the national homosexual movement is raising money and organizing people to change the Massachusetts legislature. In particular, they have targeted several solid, loyal pro-family Representatives to defeat in the upcoming primaries. And more are targeted in the general election. We’ve just learned that one of the groups, MassEquality, has already raised $200,000. And “SupportEquality” is raising even more. We’ve also learned that they’re organizing gay activists and supporters, and mailing out misleading and untruthful flyers throughout many districts about the pro-family incumbents. Make no mistake about it. These are VERY radical people who are running. For example, Rep. Vincent Ciampa (D-Somerville) is up against Carl Sciortino, who is receiving national homosexual support. Sciortino was in the news last year when he and his “partner” disrupted a Catholic Mass at the Cathedral of Holy Cross in protest of the Church’s stand against homosexual marriage. Rep. Bruce Ayers (D-Quincy) has a homosexual activist opponent who helps bring homosexual speakers to public schools, works as a schoolteacher and director of 4H camps for kids, and hopes to make the “world free of homo-bi-trans-phobia”. (More on both of these coming up.) See our list of important primary races. These primary elections take place on Sept. 14 – less than two weeks from now. We are working with each of the campaigns. This can be stopped, but YOUR HELP IS REALLY NEEDED NOW. Can you make phone calls (at a phone bank, or even from home!), can you give rides on election day? Even a little volunteer time from a lot of people can make a HUGE difference. Even if you don’t live in the district – CONTACT US NOW if you can help. Don’t even think about what will happen the national homosexual groups are able to dictate to our Legislature because of the fear they will instill there (and in others!) if they succeed. Remember, freedom isn’t free.
