Our Senator, John Kerry, Voted Against DOMA Even Though Mail Was 10-1 in Favor
In 1996 when John Kerry was one of a tiny number of Senators who voted against the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) which was signed by Bill Clinton, he was receiving mail that was 10-1 in favor of the Act.
At the time, Kerry wrote in a homosexual newspaper, The Advocate: “For every letter I receive from a gay or gay-friendly constituent, I get ten from well-organized and well-funded opponents of gay rights.”
Did you know you are part of a “well-organized and well-funded” effort in Massachusetts to defeat “gay rights”? If so, please tell us where it is located.
