Will Catholic Hierarchy Abandon the Fight Despite the Pope’s Urging?
Note that their message in Ohio does not scream that this is a religious issue, but they do close with “God be with you.” It is clear that with 80% of our legislators being Catholic, we will not succeed in removing Judge Marshall and her three cohorts unless the hierarchy of the Catholic Church gets behind its own Emile Goguen (D-Fitchburg), who is leading the fight against “gay marriage” and has put his head on the line. He has a homosexual running against him and the homosexuals will throw everything they have against him. The Democratic Party under Alan Solomont and Speaker Finneran will probably try to discipline and remove him for embarrassing the Party.
Will the Catholic hierarchy continue to listen to the cautious advice of the retiring Gerry D’Avolio? Or will it show it has recovered from its problems and is ready to provide leadership in the fight against “gay marriage” as the Pope is urging?
It is only because of what we have allowed to happen in Massachusetts that the people in Ohio, and all the other states, have to go through this giant effort. Have we no shame?
