Congressman John Tierney Writes that Margaret Marshall Was Correct
Congressman John Tierney of the North Shore, (Lynn, Peabody, Salem, Gloucester, Topsfield and up to New Hampshire) is writing to constituents that Margaret Marshall was absolutely correct in her illegal decision about homosexual “marriage.” He instructs them: “As discussed at length in the Massachusetts Court decision,” this should not be a religious issue. Of course, it shouldn’t, Congressman Tierney. And you are going along with Marshall’s attempt to make it look as though it is. You believe that only “religious” zealots understand that children need a mother and a father. You believe, along with her, that those “religious” people are our greatest danger. Meanwhile, you attempt to make it look like there are many more important things to attend to than this huge decision which is causing such turmoil across the nation. “I am hopeful that Republican leaders will address the real needs of the American people -- growing the economy to create jobs, expanding access to quality health care, providing the best education for our children, and keeping the homeland secure.” So now we are instructed that the “real needs” of our country do not include protecting our children, marriage and families. Thank you for the lesson, Mr. Tierney. |
