Voters Will React at the Ballot Box against Democratic Leadership; The New Revolution in Massachusetts Many voters will be working to create new leadership in the state at the next election, whether it be Democrats, Republicans or Independents. “We have seen the need for new leadership and for ‘term limits,’” says Sally Pawlick. “We have discovered that once a person gets elected to the legislature as a ‘professional legislator,’ their loyalty belongs to the ‘club’ on Beacon Hill and not to the voters. Their main objective is being reelected and going along with the leaders in Boston, not in their district. “There are a few excellent people in both parties who keep their sense of honor and integrity, but most succumb to their own needs. After all, when we finally told the Reps last Thursday they needed to sign a letter to Speaker Finneran to Remove the judges who had made a mockery of our Constitution, only 13 Reps from both parties, came forward to affix their signatures. This occurred even though a large number had told their constituents they endorsed the letter. “We need a cleansing of the whole building, which has become an Augean stable. Of course, this will be more detrimental to Democrats because they own the place now and they have been the prime instigators for homosexuality, including Speaker Finneran. When the Legislature refused to allow a vote on the Protection of Marriage Amendment in 2002 because they knew it would get the required 25% and go to a vote of the people, the violators were predominately the entire Democratic Party. Its ‘leaders’ even endorsed homosexual marriage this spring, despite the caution urged by the Boston Globe, believe it or not.” |
