WBZ Will Air 12 Advertisements Over Weekend About Speaker Finneran’s Failure to Allow a Vote; Two New Ads Debut Tomorrow and Sunday

     Two new advertisements will begin this weekend on WBZ telling about Speaker Finneran’s failure to allow a vote on Rep. Emile Goguen’s Resolution. The ads will be aired six times on Saturday and six times on Sunday. They are part of a campaign by Massachusetts Citizens for Marriage to let the Speaker understand that the citizens are serious about having a vote in the House next week as required by the state Constitution. The ads are already up and running on WTTT - 1150, WEZE - 590 and WROL – 950.

     It was five years ago, in 1999, that Margaret Marshall publicly assured the lesbian attorney in the “gay marriage” lawsuit that she would win the suit if she filed in the Massachusetts courts. The ads will help to let Beacon Hill understand that the citizens are serious about having a vote in the House next week as required by the state Constitution.
