Mr. Pawlick,
I am one of several hundred grass roots activists across the state who feel very frustrated by your comments against us and against Dr. Dobson today on www.massnews.com
I do not understand where you get the idea that we have been ignoring the Bill of Address in our own state. The majority of grass roots people have been working with the Article 8 Alliance all along.
We are all working very hard on many fronts. Unfortunately you do not see that we gained 15 U.S. Senators by all the calling in the last 2 days. That may not be important to you, but I assure you that we who are in this for the rest of our lives do find every gain worthwhile... even if it was only one senator at a time. It was not a failure. We know what it is going to take. We will keep trying.
What hurts the most is that we all want to live in a state that is free from corruption, we all want to leave our children a better world (or at least try our best to do that), but there are some people like you have to start throwing mud at your own team members.
If we are all trying to accomplish the same end, all we ask is that you set a good example... just like we ask our kids on the baseball diamond... sportsmanship, respect, honor. In other words, your sarcasm towards us is not appealing, but is actually causing the opposite effect.
We don't agree with everything you say and you probably don't agree with everything we say, but we need to be examples of civility and show the children that adults know how to express their differences without a food fight - if indeed we need to say anything at all. There was absolutely no reason for you to call us "disillusioned and tired followers of Dobson". Did you actually think it was going to make us want to join with you? You may need to read the best seller, "How to win friends and influence people" for some pointers. As for the rest of us, this is the last straw. Where there is no respect, the people will not follow.
I am blind carbon copying everyone so they will be watching your reaction to this. Remember, we will still be here long after you are gone.
If you are a true patriot, we will read what you have to say on MassNews.
If you are going to be a mud-slinger, then we will promptly part company.
Sincerely,
Kingsley Locke
