Will Mass. Democrats Continue their Suicidal Campaign for “Gay Marriage” in 2004 as They Did in 2002? Citizens Must Call State and National Democratic Chairmen and Sen. Kerry’s Campaign By Mass News Staff It appears that Mass. Democrats will continue promoting “gay marriage” this year the same as they did in 2002 unless their leaders finally realize they are heading for a disaster. There are only two weeks left for them to change their course before the National Convention effectively ends the legislative year, beginning on Saturday, July 24. Most citizens have been confused (and still are) by Speaker Finneran who has caused voters to believe the Party is deeply divided on social issues, and he is the champion of traditional families. This ruse worked well during the Constitutional Convention of 2002 when the President of the Senate, Tom Birmingham, was in charge and took all the heat for violating the Constitution on July 17, 2002. On that day, Finneran watched quietly without protest as Birmingham stood at the podium and led the legislators in refusing to vote on the Protection of Marriage Amendment --- even though it had gotten over 130,000 signatures and more than 500 voters jammed the State House to watch the Democrats illegal conduct. Everyone knew in 2002 that the measure would get more than the necessary 25% of the vote (50 of the 200 legislators), which was required in order to send it on to the people at the ballot box. Everyone knows in 2004, including Finneran, that the Removal of the judges will pass the House if he does not block the required vote. Even the Globe agreed in 2002, saying: “The legislative opponents of the ballot question, led by Senate President Thomas F. Birmingham, lacked the votes necessary to defeat it outright, instead they voted 137-53 to adjourn the constitutional convention indefinitely, effectively blocking the question from appearing on the election ballot. … The ballot question appeared to have that support [25% of the legislators] and more, but no vote was taken on the question itself.” The Democrats and the Globe said that this perfectly legal even though every lawyer in the state knew that it was not. Finally, on Dec. 20 of that year, the SJC unanimously told the Democrats they had violated the Constitution. Who Is Forcing Finneran? This year it is Speaker Finneran who is leading the illegal process and refusing to allow a vote on the Removal of Judges Marshall, Greaney, Ireland and Cowin even though there is no doubt that Marshall told the lesbian lawyer, Mary Bonauto, in 1999 in a public meeting before 300 people, that she would win her lawsuit for “gay marriage” if she filed it in Massachusetts. The suit was filed by Bonauto in 2001. The Removal process has forced the Speaker to come out in the open although he has tried to hide behind his lieutenants. So the question is who is forcing Finneran to violate the Constitution in 2004? Most people agree that he would not do so if he were not being forced by someone. Most believe that he is totally in charge of the House, although that is obviously not true, but the average person has no idea what outside forces are working behind the scenes. There’s no question that there are large amounts of cash flowing into the State House from all over the world, according to many legislators. Some worry that it is the mob trying to put together a worldwide prostitution network if they can get the United States out-of-the-way as the only country that does not permit legalized prostitution (except for Nevada where the mob is doing very well). Does anyone believe that Tom Finneran is really in favor of homosexual “marriage?” Then why is he being so stubborn and even breaking the law?
