Judges Greaney, Ireland and Cowin Will All Receive Handsome Retirement if They Resign
All three of the judges who went along with Margaret Marshall’s plan will receive handsome retirement benefits if they resign before the proceedings begin. If they wait, they could lose them all. John Greaney is 65 and has 29-years as a judge; Roderick Ireland is 60 and has 27-years of service; Judith Cowin is 62 with 14-years as a judge, countless years as a state employee and her husband is a judge on the state Appeals Court. As for Margaret Marshall, she will be able to name the University to which she will go as a Professor and a heroine of the left who will be lauded for her political activities. She could start with Yale, her alma mater (where she has just been elected as a governing Fellow of the school). |
