Globe Propagandized Heavily with Human Interest Stories
Monday May 17, 2004

A major story about two lesbians on the front page of yesterday’s Globe would make anyone exclaim: “Please get married. How could anyone be so mean as to stop you?” It reported that the two are “consumed with anxiety” whether some attempt to stop homosexual “marriage” will succeed. One of them has breast cancer. They wonder whether the “neighbors they wave to in the morning, or the man who pumps their gas, could decide it all.” This makes the Needham couple angry. “We always joke that we’re going to knock on our neighbors’ doors and say, ‘Excuse me, is it all right with you if we get married?’” One said. “Nobody asked us about their marriages. We should never have to vote on something like that.” Although their twin four-year-old boys may not be wondering yet why they’re living with two women, they will do so before long.

Meanwhile, Yvonne Abraham’s front-page propaganda has everyone wondering how anyone could be so mean as to stop this angry couple from finding “happiness.” But Yvonne would stop wondering if she would contemplate those two unfortunate boys, one of whom was pictured in a dress shop, helping to choose material.

How would they be voting?
