Conservative non-profit seeks CLU insurance salesman (or equivalent) for fund raising and outreach across Massachusetts. Do you have high standards and never accept anything less than 100% effort? We have the network but need you to cultivate and grow a bountiful harvest.

Qualifications:
Seeking seasoned professional with track record of high performance. Must be self-starter, highly motivated and committed to advancing traditional family values in Massachusetts. Plan and execute fund raising programs and develop strategies for strategic partnerships and grassroots organizing. Ideal candidate has strong prospecting, qualifying and closing skills. Qualified candidates will have at least 7 to 10 years experience in sales and/or fund raising, a significant part of which has involved strategic development of territories. But we do not want someone who is trying to retire slowly.

Skills:
Ability to generate appointments, make formal presentations and effectively communicate and function independently. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong organizational and administrative skills are needed. Must be able to work effectively with volunteers to interact with senior management, foundations, and high net worth individuals. Must be goal oriented and able to meet deadlines. Must be able to develop and manage strong pipeline of opportunities. Strong closing skills are essential. Must have a proven track record of professional sales or fund raising success. Responsibilities:
Initiate fund raising strategies. Formulate fund-raising needs/priorities for prospective donors. Plan, execute and manage the cultivation, solicitation, and donor relations activities. Spearhead prospect identification, evaluation, and allocation. Identify new prospects and assist in matching priorities and programs with potential donors. Track outstanding proposals. Coordinate solicitation activities. Draft fund-raising reports, acknowledgment letters, solicitation briefings, proposals, etc. as required. Ensure appropriate stewardship of gifts received, including acknowledgement, recognition, reporting, etc. Provide leadership for special events directly related to individual major initiatives. Serve as liaison to volunteer groups, other non-profits, and donors. Maintain current personal and professional contact information for assigned prospects and strategic partners. Meet regularly with supporters, partners, and support staff.
