'Impressive' List of Gay Marriage
Supporters Isn't Impressive, It's Sad

GLAD, the group that's trying to impose
gay marriage on Massachusetts, has announced that
88 law professors and 67 organizations are supporting
their lawsuit. But a quick glance shows that this
just more hype on the part of these Gay & Lesbian
Advocates & Defenders.
The truth was revealed in a Bay Windows
editorial in August which said that many in the movement
were disappointed to discover that homosexuals activists
really are not interested in marriage. They showed
that it is the extreme feminists who are pushing the
effort for gay marriage. The feminists are doing so
because they believe that the institution of marriage
is damaging to women and therefore they wish to diminish
it as an institution in any way possible.
For example, the 88 professors are drawn
from around the entire world. There are only 21 listed
from the 8 schools in Massachusetts. This is not an
impressive showing. In fact, it is downright embarrassing.
Northeastern University School of Law (3)
Suffolk University Law School (5)
Boston University School of Law (4)
Boston College Law School (2)
Western New England College School of Law (3)
New England School of Law (1)
Harvard University (2)
Harvard Law School (1).
The 67 organizations that favor gay
marriage are the usual suspects. They come from extreme
feminist organizations and homosexual activist groups.
They are the same old ones who have been battling
the Protection of Marriage Amendment, sometimes fairly
and sometimes unfairly, sometimes legally and sometimes
not.
They include at least 27 groups of homosexual
activists. Many of these groups are very obscure and
it is difficult to tell for sure if they are homosexual
organizations, but unless they are definitely homosexual,
they are not counted as a part of this list of 27
groups.
