Flames of Court Corruption? Barbara Johnson To The Rescue!

Attorney Barbara Johnson drove up to Salem Probate & Family Court yesterday in a fire truck to do a bit of campaigning in her bid for Governor, before going inside to represent a father caught up in a contentious custody battle.

"The fire truck is our symbol of the need to douse the flames of corruption in the court system," said Johnson, who plans to barnstorm around Massachusetts with the vehicle.

Johnson told MassNews there is an absence of due process, equal protection and fundamental fairness in Massachusetts courts.

"I am running on a broad platform focusing on individual rights-the equal rights of fathers in custody and visitation actions, protection of all parents in cases of false accusations of child abuse and domestic violence, shared parenting, problems with adoption and unfair termination of parental rights, and elder issues facing the state. I am calling for an investigation of DSS and its practices."

Johnson said she supports the rights of the citizens to sue all those who injure the families of Massachusetts, because everyone, including DSS, must be accountable for what they do.

"I'm being very conservative when I say there is one child who loses their father in each Probate and Family Court across this Commonwealth every single day," said Johnson.
