Are you willing to follow a state Senator or Rep on Wednesday, June 19, and see where he or she is at 10 a.m. when the vote on the Marriage Amendment is scheduled to take place?

"Some of these legislators will be telling us they couldn't attend the session because they were deeply involved in the budget or whatever," says the President of Mass. Citizens for Marriage, Sarah McVay Pawlick.

"The truth may be that they were home in bed or across the street in Joe's restaurant at 10 a.m. instead of on the House floor."

MCM plans to report to the voters where every Senator and Rep was at that hour.

"This is a very important part of democracy - to let the voters know what their legislators are really doing when they are missing from important votes," says Pawlick. "But we need the help of many volunteers in order to accomplish this."

Anyone who can be at the State House during the morning next Wednesday, June 19, should contact MCM at 781-647-1942 or info@marriagematters.org.
